After about an hour everyone leaves. I see no rescued individuals leave here. They may have been taken to Lander, Brunswick or on the Virginia side.

Contrary to what I wrote last week, the new crossovers here have not been placed in service.
This is one of those little CSXT tragedies. D023 was stored overnight on the East Alco spur off the Old Main Line Subdivision. It backed out and was refueled from a tank truck on the Main. It went w/b to Satterwhite and took the wye to e/b on the Metropolitan Subdivision. It was supposed to lay rail at the east end of the subdivision; but, as it started to climb the hill in Run 8, it stopped loading. It worked briefly in Run 7; but stopped loading again. After the engineer discussed the situation with the BC Dispatcher, it backed to East Rocks, around the wye to Satterwhite (delaying Amtrak #30 about 10 minutes), then limped to Brunswick. No rail was laid today.
